Back to School Night Scavenger Hunt- Student Directed!

Hi everyone! This year I decided to make a Back to School Night activity that was student directed instead of teacher led.  I created a discovery scavenger hunt throughout the room to highlight important parts of our day.  This is by far my absolute favorite back to school activity I have made in my 10 years of teaching!! My students loved reading the clues and finding their new destinations. It really made my students shine and take ownership of what they do in the classroom! It was awesome to hear them talk with their families instead of me just talking to them!! If you're looking for something different for your Back to School Night or any other special time of the year, check this out! :) I included blank templates so you could customize it for your liking, too! :) Enjoy!!  Click here to go to my TPT store to take a look!

Welcome!!!

Hi there!!!  Welcome to my blog!  This is the first blog I've ever had, and I'm so excited to share with you all!  I titled my blog, Dancing Amongst the Stars, because my passion with teaching is to guide my students in becoming extraordinary people!  I want them to know that they can do anything, hence they can dance amongst the stars!  :)  I can't wait to share ideas and hear from all of you!

Nicole :)
